I guess this should be the point where I show you what a true maverick I am, diverting myself from a promising career path and having decided to wander the world, gambling with the predictability and security of my future. Followed by a colourful travel blog with palmtrees and swimwear themed posts, insinuating I have found peace and happiness by photosynthesis.
And while I do hope most posts to this blog will embody innocent playfulness and virtuous adventure, I don't intend to obscure the harsher realities of my experiences and encounters.
Especially regarding the day-to-day realities of those social strata on which our elevated lifestyles luxuriate. Making this blog much in line with the paradox of flying a jet around the world to warn people of greenhouse gasses.
Similarly, I’m not trying to win any popularity contest nor plan on running for office, so the exact definition of political correctness has been lost on me. I do however uphold the belief that:
One man’s freedom ends, where another man’s freedom begins.”
- Leon Chautard
And try to act accordingly. Notwithstanding, that in order to learn how far we can safely swing our fists, some noses will inevitably get bruised.
