August 6th Svend took us to a more secluded cliff jumping spot he remembered from his youth. We were to find the spot, take the jump, and grill some improvised bush burgers.
But when we arrived we were greeted by some Himba boys and their donkey, and a few overlanding Israeli boys and their properly equipped 4by4.
So we joined forces and went looking for the hidden cliff diving spot, keeping our fingers crossed that the water was still deep enough and no boulder rolled into it.
Our fierce leader Svend leading the way and eventually finding what at first glance looked like a guerilla cannabis plantation, but turned out to be the little lake we were looking for.
We all swam across towards the little slit in the rocks, where we were promised to find our adrenaline rush, and weren't disappointed...
When sufficiently high on dopamine, we returned to our temporary campsite and started to make some bush burgers.
Once our bellies were full, we packed up our things and drove off to our next adventure.
